Meh Meh

Olga tagged me to do this "seven random things about me" meme.

If my elementary school teachers are to be believed, I don't normally play well with others. However, I will be a good sport and dredge something up to titillate and inspire you.

1- I am psychic. I often have either prophetic or concurrent dreams. (i.e., I dream about things and then find out later they really happened while I was dreaming them...actually, maybe I am telekinetic?)

2- The strongest pulse in my body is right above my navel. It's visible to the naked eye when I am lying on my back.

3- I love writing with blue, medium ball point pens on brown ruled looseleaf paper...what we used to call "foolscap".

4- I learned how to draw several cartoon animals very well, from Mr Dressup.

5- I think body piercings are about the sexiest things ever.

6- My special power is Super Strength. I am like an ox. Or a Clydesdale.

7- I am still nursing my 3 year old.

8- I have a degree in Classical Studies - now known as "Greek and Roman Studies".

9- I can't count to 7.

Who needs to count when you have the strength of a Clydesdale?!
You are a fascinating person indeed.

7- I am still nursing my 3 year old.

Me too!

"Fascinating" is a good word for Shanzilla. Not "fascinating" as in "it's so fascinating to watch the mating habits of this insect," but "fascinating" as in, "what an enormously interesting, fascinating individual, whose power to surprise us has never waned."

Hee hee. I love this game - and those were good random things. Though I have to admit that body piercings ook me out. And of course, my ex got several (some in scary parts) right after we broke up. Poopyhead.

Hey, can you dream up the lotto numbers for me? Oh yeah, you can't count to seven....bummer. I'm still nursing my 12 year old......Oh, I'm just kidding! Have you seen that movie 'Unbreakable' with Bruce Willis? He was this ordinary guy who found out he had this super-human strengh. My mom was like that, could move or lift ANYTHING. She never needed help to move stuff, just did it herself.

Kate and Gwen: Aw, go on.

No, really - go on.

Cynthia: You go!

Lizbon: Oooh, the scary parts are the best.

USF: Yes I do love me some Bruce Willis pumping iron in the basement. S'alright with me. Plus with that sexy rain poncho he can't go wrong.

I believe I may not be mature enough to handle the adult content in some of these posts.

If you traded us Pamela Anderson for Ernie Coombs, the US got hosed in that deal! We want a refund!

I'm so with you on number 3 - I love how the pen glides on that paper and the ink sinks in and sticks to it.

Jared - no, we included Pam Anderson as a gift-with-purchase when you bought Celine Dion.

caveat emptor

If only we could find an ignored little corner of the country to stick PA in like we did Celine Dion. Sure, she was bated with dollar signs, but there were so many interested parties in getting her out of the main stream so we didn't have to see or hear her every day.

Oh, and don't forget Shania Twain (or whatever the H her real name is). I wish she'd sign a major deal with a casino to get her out of the public eye and making new songs.

Sorry, now it sounds like I hate Canadians. I don't. As a matter of fact, my favorite cartoon is made in Vancouver, BC at AKA Animation. Ed, Edd 'n Eddy is the best classic (along the lines of Chuck Jones and Tex Avery) style comedy cartoon made in the last 30 years. Probably second only to whiskey as Canada's most popular export in the US.

No worries, KingJaymz, you dislike all the Canadians we were happy to get rid of! The good stuff we try to keep closer to home (although some of our comedians do have a tendency to wander).

I ditto Kates comment, and I love the fact that you are still nursing your 3 year old. Go for it girl. I stopped when my children decided; it was their choice.
